Kirsten Storms faces restraining order as ex raises alarming allegations

Kirsten Storms is facing new legal challenges after her ex-husband, actor Brandon Barash, obtained a restraining order citing concerns about his mental health and the safety of their 12-year-old daughter.

According to TMZBarash requested an emergency order earlier this month, with a judge approving the request after he alleged Storms had demonstrated troubling behavior.

The couple were married from 2013 to 2016 and have a common daughter, Harper.

In court documents obtained by TMZBarash detailed the incidents that raised alarms, including Storms’ deportation proceedings in Tennessee, financial instability and alleged drug abuse.

He claimed he loaned her $5,000 to prevent her car from being repossessed, but said wider issues left him “greatly” concerned about her ability to care for their child.

Barash also recounted a May 2025 episode in which Storms allegedly experienced delusions and hallucinations, leading his current wife, Isabella Devoto, to take her to a hospital where she was placed on psychiatric hold.

Later that year, the General Hospital The star reportedly called him to tell him that intruders had tampered with his business.

According to Barash, friends suggested that Storms might be abusing Adderall and other substances.

He alleged she suffered repeated depressions, heard voices and suffered from paranoia.

Storms, who played Maxie Jones in General Hospital since 2005, announced in July 2025 that she was taking time off to undergo brain surgery.

She later revealed that doctors discovered a cyst and aneurysm, prompting her to move from Los Angeles to Tennessee for health and family reasons.

Storms currently has supervised visits with Harper.

A judge is expected to review the status of the restraining order this week.
