Thick as thievesthe last game made by the legendary Deus Ex And Thief: Deadly Shadows studio head Warren Spector will launch at an absolutely bargain price.
Developer OtherSide Entertainment has confirmed that the game will only cost $4.99 when it arrives on PC on May 20, 2026. And yes, I promise that’s not a typo: in the era of $70 releases, here you get a brand new game for just five bucks.
Set in the alternate history Scottish town of Kilcairn, it follows a gang of thieves undertaking daring heists of elaborate, heavily guarded mansions, armed with a set of conventional tools like lockpicks and smoke grenades in addition to more unusual magical abilities. This can be solo or online co-op with friends.

Look on it
At launch, Thick as thieves will feature two huge maps designed with multiple playthroughs in mind, along with 16 missions to complete and six pieces of gear to play around with.
The developers estimate that everything will take around four hours, although I imagine it will be easy to extend that runtime by returning to explore the maps more, especially since they are meant to change dynamically with each playthrough.
The team also intends to expand the offering with future content, with development informed by how players engage with this initial package.
If you want to know more about the game, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
