James seemed to be a big fan of Clark as he posted about the Fever sharpshooter before the start of his second season in the WNBA.
“Good luck and DO as usual this season!!!”
Sophomore year didn’t really work out for Clark. She started the season with a bang, finishing in double figures in scoring in eight straight games before being held to just six points in 31 minutes against the Seattle Storm.
Clark has reached at least 12 points in the last three games she has played. On July 15, Clark suffered a hamstring injury before the All-Star break and she would not return to the court for the remainder of the year.

She said last month that she is “100% healthy” ahead of the 2026 season.
“I’m a person that doesn’t want to miss a single rep, like I want to be there every time,” Clark told reporters in April. “But I think just being a little smarter about my body…whether it’s healing, pre-judicial treatment, whatever.”
She has proven it so far in the preseason.
