Chief of Defense Force and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stressed that “Pakistan’s planned rise cannot be hampered by propaganda, fake news or externally sponsored terrorism”, during his visit to the Quetta Garrison on Tuesday, where he addressed “student officers and faculty members of the Quetta Command and Staff College”, the Army’s media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “he reiterated that hostile forces attempting to derail Pakistan’s progress through proxies and propaganda will ultimately fail due to the resilience of the state and the unity of its people.”

“During his speech, the Marshal appreciated the high standards of training, intellectual rigor and professionalism that remain the hallmark of the Command and Staff College, Quetta,” the ISPR said.

“He noted with satisfaction that graduates of the college have continued to distinguish themselves through their exceptional performance and dedication to the profession,” the statement said.

CDF Munir highlighted the rapidly transformative nature of modern warfare and stressed the importance of staying abreast of emerging technologies, multi-domain operations, tri-service synergy and future challenges on the battlefield, the statement said.
