One of the best things to debate among friends is where professional athletes in a particular sport rank all time. Some are in the top 10, others follow the Mount Rushmore rule.
Professional wrestling fans are no different. The championships, legacy and impact on the sport are important to those who take the time to watch wrestling 3-6 times a week for decades. How professional wrestlers are remembered by their fans is important to them.

For WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, she suggested in an interview with PK Press Club Digital that her championship accolades should be put aside. It’s more important to use your voice to have an effect on someone watching it in an arena or at home.
“I would really like to be remembered as being fearless, as someone who’s not afraid to use your voice, someone who’s not afraid to lead the way, someone who’s not afraid to stand up to all the hate, who can still be yourself when people are trying to tear you down,” said Bella, who became Madam Paleta Tequila’s margarita director earlier in the week. “What I’ve realized, and this is in any industry and through time, it’s never easy to be the first or to be the loudest about something. And there are so many people who helped pave the way before us, but when you’re at the forefront or when you’re in the face of it, you take on everything that comes with it – the hate, the love, the support, everything.

“I think that’s where I really live up to being Nikki ‘Fearless’, I don’t stop. Even when I’m not at my best or when I’m at my best. I hope that at the end of the day, people can look back and respect that too – even those who can be so disrespectful. They see things in such a different way and they really don’t know it. I hope that it’s remembered like that for everything.”
Bella said she understands fans will look at her titles and accolades as a whole when she ultimately decides to step away from acting for good.

She is a two-time Divas Champion, including holding the championship for a record 300 days, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame with her sister, Brie Bella, in 2020.
She stressed, however, that the impact she had made was held in high esteem above all else.
“Some people get addicted to champion numbers, like 13 times, 10 times, five times, you know, for me it’s always been about impact,” she told PK Press Club Digital. “And if people listened, I was able to change some people’s lives. Maybe they grew up in a not-great home and I gave them the ability to be fearless and use their voice to know that they could be someone great one day. For me, that’s being a champion and that’s what I want to be more than anything. I look at my Bella Army and she is my true accomplishment.
