With an A and a U in the wrong positions and knowing they ended in an E, I was sure I was looking for a word with the other two vowels second and third.
I could think of a few using letters I’d already used (cause, break, sauce), but which ones of the letters I’d left eluded me. So it was a little annoying that when my brain finally got there, “purple” wasn’t correct. Eventually I made it to GAUZE, but it was a little too painful.
