NYT Strands today (game #815) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #815, are…
- SAUSAGE
- KID
- ALONG THE FOOT
- PETARD
- WEENIE
- SPANGRAM: HOTDIGGITYDOG
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
Ketchup or mustard? That could only mean one thing: hot dogs. But how was Strands able to expand this to an entire game, especially since the word “HOTDOG” didn’t seem to be the spangram?
These were my thoughts when I started this game, featuring the many types of sausages found nestled in a split bun. The words themselves were easy enough to spot, but the unnecessarily long spangram was a curveball.
I think I was also a little annoyed by the word “or” in the theme. Surely everyone has both?
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Tuesday May 26, match #814)
- MOUSSE
- GLANS
- DAISY
- PUDDLE
- FEATHER
- Paw print
- SPANGRAM: TREASURE HUNT
