Ice has never been warmer than Off campus on Prime Video (well, if you completely neglect Passionate rivalryanyway).
Season 1 has been a smash hit with fans and critics since it debuted on May 13, adapting the first novel in Elle Kennedy’s book series of the same name.
Hannah (Ella Bright) and Garrett (Belmont Cameli) took on the roles of our romantic leads, with fans quickly praising the two for their “crazy” on-screen chemistry.
But a bit like The Bridgerton Chronicleswe can expect every season of Off campus focusing on a different couple, which means that the already renewed season 2 of Off Campus will head in a slightly different direction.
Luckily for us, we already have an idea of what that might look like. From a shock departure to who we think will be next in the spotlight, here’s everything we know about Off campus season 2 so far.
Off Campus Season 2 Release Window Predictions

At the moment, release date predictions for season 2 are unclear. Production hasn’t even started yet and we don’t know when that might change.
Based on this, we can assume that we will see new episodes around mid-2027 at the earliest, but my intuition tells me that we could wait until 2028.
Off Campus Season 2 Trailer: Is There One?
Don’t be stupid! It took us until the end of April 2026 to get one for season 1, so expect the first full trailer to arrive around four weeks before the second season.

We expect the following main cast members to return for Off campus season 2:

Unfortunately, we already know that Justin Kohl (Josh Heuston) will not be returning for new episodes.
In an interview with TV Guide, showrunner Louisa Levy was asked if Justin would return. “Not next season, but I love Josh and I wouldn’t rule him out if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point,” she said.
“We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we’ll find a way to bring her into a future season. We haven’t. [available] next season, but never say never.”
Off Campus Season 2 Plot Predictions
If the rumors are true, Off campus season 2 will adapt Kennedy’s third novel in the series, The score. Along with online speculation, this comes from the trailer and the season 1 finale setup for Allie and Dean, as it is implied that they will be the next romantic leads.
“I think more than anything, it’s almost just a way to set the clock back a little bit,” Abdalla told People Magazine. “We have so much about Allie and Dean in the beginning, or in the first season, that’s so fun and awesome and cool, but I think they’re flying a little too close to the sun right now.”
She continues, “the insecurity that [Allie] that I had at the start of season 1 is doubled. “These two people’s fears and insecurities have just been reinforced. So when we get to really explore their relationship, we’re starting from a place that’s even more damaged and closed off. Work needs to be done.”
While Levy teased that the book being adapted would be confirmed “very soon,” she also told TV Guide about the show’s future: “I have big plans, but I have to take it one step at a time, one season at a time. Next season we’ll have the opportunity to really live in this overall world that’s really fun.”
“Happily ever after stories are wonderful and so important for this kind of novel, but they’re not very useful for television because we have to keep telling stories. So that was partly my attempt to give [viewers] Hannah and Garrett will have their happily ever after, which is what I wanted, which I know the fans will want, but still leaving something unresolved and some questions regarding Season 2 of “How is this going to be resolved and how is this going to move the story forward?” I want people to watch Season 2 and see what we have in store.”
Will there be more seasons of Off Campus?
Logically, the answer is yes. Kennedy’s original book series includes the following five books, each exploring a different romantic relationship within it:
- The agreement (Garrett and Hannah)
- The error (Logan and Grace)
- The score (Dean and Allie)
- The goal (Tucker and Sabrina)
- The legacy (updates on all four couples)
Given that Season 2 is expected to skip the second book in order to adapt the third, there’s more than enough room for Off Campus to be renewed for years to come.
Levy added in his interview with TV Guide, “I don’t have a number in mind. I definitely have plans for the top four.” [Off Campus books] to begin with, but, as we know, Hunter has his own book. There are other books in the Briar U world that I would love to be able to do, but for now I’m really focused on these first four books.
However, there has been no official update from Amazon yet. It’s likely that no season renewal will happen before season 2 begins airing, so watch this space.
