President Donald Trump is aware that Jaxson Dart was criticized by some left-wing media outlets, some NFL fans and even a teammate after he introduced the president at a rally last week. So, of course, the leader of the free world will be standing next to the New York Giants quarterback.

“So when Jaxson gets picked on a little bit, he also gets more love,” he told Lara Trump during an interview on PK Press Club’ “My View with Lara Trump,” which aired Saturday. “Because we have more people than them.”

“And a lot of people that you think of, like people in Los Angeles, rich people that I see all the time there, kind of hit me, and they meet me, they say, ‘Sir, I voted for you.’ I said, ‘I know. I know. I can say it. The guys voted for me.

Trump and Dart had never met before the rally at Rockland Community College’s Eugene Levy Fieldhouse last Friday, but they apparently struck up a quick affinity for each other.

At the rally to support Rep. Mike Lawler, Trump joked about Dart’s good looks. He does this a lot with athletes and others.

“I wish I looked like Jaxson,” Trump said. “I said, ‘Is he a male model or something?’ He’s a handsome guy, like a handsome guy, a conservative guy.”

And this: “He said, ‘I love you, sir.'”

This will destroy some leftists, socialists, Marxists, progressives and the Trump Derangement Syndrome group.

This also might not make Abdul Carter happy, as he is the Giants edge rusher who publicly criticized his teammate on X for featuring Trump.

But what did Carter and the others expect?

Dart is a 23-year-old from conservative-leaning Utah who has openly stated that he is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), commonly known as the Mormon faith. He hunted, fished and played college football at conservative Mississippi State at Ole Miss.

And Trump, perhaps the most athletic president in a long time, sees great potential in the quarterback about to enter his second NFL season.

“He’s potentially a great quarterback,” Trump said. “He’s a young kid who’s just getting started. But when he’s in the game, he moves the team. I didn’t know him, but I watched him a little bit and he moves the team. He has huge potential. He stays healthy, he’s going to be great.”
