Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to make an appearance in the UK as major reconciliation plans unfold behind the scenes.
King Charles has reportedly been asked to look into the matter by a key royal aide, especially as the estrangement between Prince William and Prince Harry continues to be the biggest obstacle to any type of peace talks.
The monarch had hosted a key event at St James’s Palace, where members of the royal family were invited, which appeared to have turned into a reunion after the half-term break, to mark 125 years of cancer research.
As reports swirl around the palace’s feelings that Harry and Meghan are not keeping their word regarding their conflicting diary commitments, the Sussexes have made an appearance.
Just hours after the key event was held in the UK, news of Harry’s “low-key” exit emerged.
Prince Harry appeared alone on the sidelines of a polo match in Montecito, California, to watch Artemio, the son of his close friend Nacho Figueras, compete, according to Daily Mail.
Meghan and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, aged seven, who will turn five in two days, were not in attendance.
Harry and Argentine polo player Figueras have been friends since 2007 and have played together for many years. The Duke of Sussex has not only supported his friend but also sport, notably with his Netflix docuseries POLO.
Meghan, for her part, lent her support to the series.
