Russell Wilson has announced his retirement from the NFL after 14 seasons, a career highlighted by a Super Bowl victory with the Seattle Seahawks.
Wilson, a 10-time Pro Bowler and 2020 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, announced his retirement in a video posted to social media.
A third-round pick of the Seahawks in the 2012 NFL Draft, Wilson became one of the league’s most recognizable quarterbacks, totaling 46,966 passing yards and 353 total touchdowns during a career that also included stints with the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants.
