Arguably the best player in the NFL just joined one of the best teams in the NFL.

Expect fireworks in Los Angeles

The football world was shocked this week when the Los Angeles Rams traded for reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett.

Garrett, 30, had spent each of his nine professional seasons with the Cleveland Browns, enjoying a surplus of individual success but appearing in only three playoff games overall.

Let’s take a look at how Garrett’s first season in Los Angeles might play out, on FanDuel Sportsbook starting June 4.

Football fans are still thinking about this one.

The Rams were just one game away from the Super Bowl last season, losing to NFC West rival Seattle in the NFC Championship Game by just four points.

Los Angeles began this offseason by trading for star cornerback Trent McDuffie, and has now landed the dual Defensive Player of the Year award that many consider to be the best player in the league, regardless of position.

Garrett is a five-time first-team All-Pro selection, a seven-time Pro Bowler and last season he set the single-season record for sacks (23). He has eight consecutive seasons of at least 10 sacks and has led the NFL in tackles for loss each of the last two seasons.

As for Garrett reaching 20 sacks, he’s only done it once in his career (last season). Before that, his career high for a season was 16.
