EA Sports FC has chosen its 2026 FIFA World Cup winner after four consecutive years of correct predictions.
The video game publisher revealed that Spain would be the country to win the trophy.
Since 2010, EA Sports has made an accurate prediction with Spain in 2010, Germany in 2014, France in 2018 and Argentina in 2022.
EA developer officials said: “We predicted four in a row. Now we have started the simulation again. The next champion? Spain.”
For the 2026 World Cup, which will be contested by the United States, Canada and Mexico, the number of teams participating in the tournament will increase to 48.
The games will begin on June 11 and end on July 12. Spain is among the favorite countries due to the impressive talent pool of its team, made up of experienced players as well as a few promising players. This can be attributed to their recent victory against England with a score of 4-0.
