With the first four episodes of Season 5 airing last week, fans quickly became concerned that Richard Ham was nowhere to be seen. This was made worse by Jeremy deciding to sell all of his remaining pigs at the end of Season 5 Episode 4.

Look on it
Halfway to Clarkson’s Farm season 5 episode 5, Jérémie notices how calm the bottom of the fields is now that the pigs have all been sold off. But all is not lost, as Richard Ham is now Diddly Squat’s only resident pig…or so it seems.
“I couldn’t let him go,” Jeremy tells the camera. “He can’t be a Fluffer anymore, because there are no pigs to fluff. He can’t be eaten, because… well, we just can’t.
“And we can’t raise him, so he’ll just live here. But you can’t leave a pig alone,” he adds.
This is where we cut to a separate enclosure behind him, revealing that another pig is now slowly being integrated into Richard Ham’s space.
“So we have another pig boy, so Richard Ham can have a friend. And who is Richard Hammond’s best friend?” Jeremy continues.
“I can’t have a pig called James May,” he tells his partner Lisa. “And James Boar?” » he adds as the two men burst out laughing.
In their Higher speed In his Golden Age, James May earned the nickname “Captain Boring” thanks to his characteristic style of explaining the smallest details at great length. So James Bore = James Boar… you can see the obvious pun.
Although Jeremy seems very happy with himself and his new pig name, we have yet to see how well Richard Ham and James Boar get along. With two episodes of Season 5 yet to be released, it is currently unconfirmed if the pigs will appear in it.
