President Donald Trump took some criticism during Wednesday’s review of the sports broadcasting law.
Representatives criticized the National Football League for showing games exclusively on streaming services, costing some fans nearly $1,000 to watch their favorite teams.
However, one Democratic representative found it necessary to go after Trump after attending Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Trump became the first sitting president to attend the NBA Finals when he watched his hometown Knicks and San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks won the first two games of the series in San Antonio before dropping Monday’s home game.
During a hearing that largely focused on the NFL forcing fans to pay absurd prices to watch games on streaming sites, Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., appeared to blame Trump for the Knicks’ loss.
“We can’t discuss anything to do with sports today without taking note of the sports story happening in this country today – the New York Knicks’ quest for the NBA championship. Tonight is Game 4, and as long as Donald Trump stays away from Madison Square Garden, the Knicks should be fine. Let’s go, Knicks,” Nadler said.

Trump says NBA is ‘good entertainment’ despite being ‘a little left-leaning’ after watching Finals
Trump received a massive reaction from the crowd at Madison Square Garden on Monday, contrasting mostly with the way he was received in Florida for the college football national championship.
Trump’s arrival in New York meant increased security throughout the city. A security barrier was erected around MSG. Secret Service and other law enforcement officials performed their duties to the highest standards, resulting in longer lines and longer wait times to enter the arena.
Watch parties in the area were canceled, with the NYPD saying it was for security reasons during Trump’s visit. They will return for Game 4 on Wednesday.
