The delegation of the British Department of Transport and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will examine the security standards of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA).

Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered an investigation into controversial advertising for the launch of PIA Paris flights.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, shared this directive during a session of the Senate Tuesday focused on a notice concerning the privatization of the PIA.

Senator Sherry Rehman expressed his concerns concerning the future of the airline, wondering if the privatization plan had been canceled or continued. She also pointed out that only 19 of the 34 PIA planes are operational, the rest anchored.

Rehman also criticized the advertising on the flight of Paris, which, according to her, led to a public ridicule, questioning the agency responsible for the announcement and the civil servant who approved it.

The advertisement presented a PIA plane near the Eiffel Tower with the slogan “We Coming”, which argued the intentions of the airline.
