The Trooping the Color ceremony is in full swing at Horseguards Parade, watched by King Charles, Queen Camilla, senior members of the Royal Family and the Prime Minister.
King Charles appeared in good spirits as ordered by the royal family before taking to the balcony of Buckingham Palace for a Red Arrows flypast.
The British monarch was greeted with salutes as he inspected soldiers and military personnel at the annual event marking the sovereign’s official birthday.
The groups were on full display, carefully keeping their formation while simultaneously playing their drums and horns during a slow march that unfolded across the square.
The King wore the uniform of the Grenadier Guards, with the regiment displaying the color – Queen Camilla looked dazzling in a red silk crepe uniform dress.
The royal family shared the first glimpse of the king and queen as they inspected the parade.
Large crowds gathered to try to catch a glimpse of the royal family, many holding up their phones and waving at the procession.
The Princess of Wales was also seen greeting royal watchers alongside her three children in an open carriage along the shopping centre.
Catherine stunned in a pale blue jacket designed by Catherine Walker with a hat by Philip Treacy, as well as an Irish Guards brooch.
Meanwhile, Prince William rode his horse alongside his uncle and aunt, Prince Edward and Princess Anne.
