Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s firstborn Rocky was a rainbow baby.
In Barker’s new Hulu documentary, Travis Barker: Love is stronger than fearpremiering on June 13, the couple revealed they suffered a miscarriage while expecting their first child together – before Rocky was born in 2023.
According to the reality TV star, she became pregnant just six months into her relationship with the Blink-182 drummer. The couple, together since 2021, were expecting a little girl and had even chosen the name Tulip before devastating news arrived during a routine doctor’s appointment.
“When we lost the baby, we were devastated,” Kardashian said in the documentary. American weekly. “We cried for days.”
This loss marked the beginning of a difficult fertility journey. Kardashian, 47, revealed she underwent five IVF attempts in eight months as the couple continued to try to conceive. It was when they decided to withdraw from the process that their prayers were finally answered.
Kardashian and Barker welcomed their son Rocky in November 2023, having conceived naturally following their hiatus from IVF treatments.
Rocky’s pregnancy brought its fair share of challenges, including emergency fetal surgery due to a “super rare” condition.
The Poosh founder is also a mom to three children with her ex, Scott Disick, while Barker shares three children with his ex Shanna Moakler.
