Tyler Farr had to cancel his performance at the Goshen Stampede festival after having an accident.
The country star, 42, was scheduled to perform at the event in Goshen, Connecticut on Saturday, June 13. But just hours before he was due to take the stage, festival organizers announced that Farr had been forced to withdraw from his planned performance at the festival after suffering a severe concussion in a car accident on his farm.
“Due to a car accident that occurred on his farm, Tyler Farr was transported to a local hospital and was diagnosed with a severe concussion,” the release said. “Tyler Farr will no longer be able to perform at the Goshen Stampede on June 13, 2026. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and will share additional information about the event as it becomes available. We wish Tyler a speedy recovery.”
Festival organizers have confirmed that Farr’s place will instead be taken by David Foster and the All Stars. They also assured participants that the event would continue as planned.
“The Goshen Stampede is in full swing with all the events, and we can’t wait to hit the campaign trail with two huge rodeos, truck pulls, monster trucks, great food, carnival rides, and family fun! Gates open at 11 a.m. today. Let’s rodeo!”
Farr later shared the announcement on her Instagram Stories but did not provide any additional details about the accident or her condition.
