Professional wrestling star Tessa Blanchard requested her release from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) on Tuesday and it was granted, PK Press Club Digital confirmed.
Blanchard is expected to revisit the decision regarding the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) YouTube page soon, as she also performs for that company.

Fightful Select first reported Blanchard’s departure.
Blanchard is one of the best female wrestlers in the world. She was ranked No. 92 on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s rankings last year and reached No. 5 on the outlet’s list in 2019.

She worked for TNA from 2018 to 2020 and joined the company in 2024 after a career with Women of Wrestling and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
Blanchard is a third-generation professional wrestler. She is the daughter of Tully Blanchard and the granddaughter of famous promoter Joe Blanchard. She is also the daughter-in-law of Magnum TA
She made history by becoming the first woman to win the TNA World Championship and she also held the TNA Knockouts Championship.

Recently, she had been aligned with Victoria Crawford and Myla Moore. She defeated Harley Hudson in her final singles match on “Impact” last month. She also defeated Jody Threat in a Bunkhouse Brawl.
