NYT Strands today (game #840) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #840, are…
- ON
- INTERNET
- FRIDGE
- BREAKFAST
- LAUNDRY
- SPANGRAM: HOTEL AMENITIES
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
“It’s included!” That must mean batteries, surely? After all, not having batteries included in something you just bought is really annoying and a consumer crisis that needs to be highlighted.
Instead, after getting SAFE and INTERNET, I decided that these were things (or HOTEL AMENITIES, as the spangram goes) included in your hotel bill – or more often not included in your hotel bill, unless you wanted to pay extra.
The most terrifying “free thing” in a hotel room is, of course, the mini-bar – an amenity that can lead to financial ruin and is certainly never “included.”
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Saturday June 20, Match #839)
- SINGING
- CAPITAL
- CHEVRON
- bleachers
- COURTYARD SIDE
