Martina Navratilova approves Olympic President full of hope which suggests a ban on transmian sports athletes

Former female tennis star Martina Navratilova expressed her desire to see the former British Olympic champion Sebastian Coe becomes the next president of the International Committee of Olympic Games (CIC).

The key problem that stimulates the approval of Navratilova is to prohibit the trans trans competition athletes – a problem that the former tennis star was a leading defender.

“IOC change can modify the trans rules of the DSD (differences in sexual development) – hopes that Seb Coe is the next president!” Navratilova wrote in an article on X while reversing an article which presents the coe positions.

Coe published his manifesto for his vision as president of the International Committee of Olympic Games (IOC), while campaigning for the position until 2025, and that stressed the importance of Protect female athletes.

Unlike the current CIO president, Thomas Bach, COE firmly opposes trans inclusion in the women’s category, and said that he would explore a complete prohibition of trans athletes in a previous interview with News.

“We will have a very clear policy that will not be ambiguous,” said Coe. “We were very clear in world athletics that transgender athletes will not participate in the female category at the level of the elite.”

Coe refused to say if he would plead for compulsory sexual eligibility tests for the Olympians.

Coe is the current chief of world athletics – the director of the International Athletics Competition. In 2023, the director body tightened its regulations on trans athletes to exclude transgender women who crossed male puberty to participate in the female category. These regulations also lowered the maximum level of testosterone for eligible female competitors.

COE said that if she becomes president of the IOC, the new Olympic Policy on Trans inclusion would “probably” reflect that he has established in world athletics.

While criticizing the current IOC policies on the issue, Coe has referred to an incident to the recent Paris Olympic Games. The recent summer matches were overshadowed by the controversy when Imane Khelif of Algeria and Taiwan’s Yu-Ting Lin won gold medals in women’s boxing.

The two athletes had already been disqualified from international competitions for failing the sexual eligibility tests. However, the CIO and the current president Thomas Bach supported the inclusion of the two athletes, insisting that they were qualified to compete as women according to current rules.

Coe previously said that the situation involving Khelif and Lin me felt “uncomfortable”, in an interview in November with the BBC. None of the athletes have been confirmed as transgender.
