Afghan Taliban move families TTP

Islamabad:

In an effort to appease the growing anger of Pakistan, the interim government of Afghan Taliban has moved certain members of the Pakistan family of Tehreek-E-Taliban prohibited (TTP) from border regions to other parts of Afghanistan.

On Tuesday, a senior Pakistani official confirmed the development of L’Express PK Press Club here, but stressed that this decision was too little to respond to the country’s longtime concerns.

It is believed that the last Taliban decision came after the United Arab Emirates (water) pushed the Kabul administration to respond to Pakistan’s concerns about terrorist hiding places.

The interim Minister of the Interior of the Taliban Sirajuddin Haqqani with the Taliban intelligence chief recently went to the water and had talks with the water management. Before their trip, a Pakistani delegation would also have visited the Gulf country as part of the efforts to resolve the issue of TTP.

There was no official confirmation on each side on development and the potential role played by water to facilitate tensions between the two countries.

However, the Pakistani official recognized the role of water as well as Qatar to negotiate a kind of way to follow on the issue of TTP.

The official said that some TTP family members, mainly women and children, have been moved from the border areas of Pakistan to other regions of Afghanistan.

However, the civil servant clearly indicated that the Taliban government had made similar arrangements in the past with little impact. Since only members of the TTP were moved and not the fighters, this would have little impact on the field.

In addition, the manager said that the TTP relocation process from border areas was to be completed a long time ago, but it was carefully slow.

According to some estimates, there are between 6000 and 8000 TTP terrorists operating in Afghanistan. In addition to 20,000 other family members who have made refugees on the other side of the border.

Given this large number, the relocation of a few hundred members of the TTP family was not the answer to the request of Pakistan, according to another official.

The official said that the idea of relocating the TTP of border areas from the Taliban after expressing their reluctance to use force against them.

Pakistan was still skeptical about the proposal because the Taliban were not ready to give the solid guarantees that the TTP would no longer constitute a threat to the neighboring country.

The news of the relocation of certain TTP members occurred only a few weeks after Pakistan has carried out strikes through the border targeting terrorist hiding places.

Sources said the Taliban management was divided on the issue of TTP. Some members think that Kabul should respond to the concerns of Pakistan and not allow TTP to operate from its soil. However, there are others in the decision -making circle that support the TTP.

Sources have said that Pakistan considered only the last development only as a “baby stage” to meet the most complex challenge in TTP.

Pakistan has repeatedly informed Taliban leaders that bilateral cooperation between the two neighbors depends on Kabul taking decisive action against the TTP.
