- A Marvel’s Wolverine the actor was also reportedly cast in the game
Before the game is available for pre-order this week, some new Grand Theft Auto 6 details have been discovered, including a new actor and a strange Easter egg that may be related to another RGT game.
First, let’s talk about the Easter egg, which was spotted in the game’s second trailer by TheGameVerse (via IGN) after a thorough analysis of each frame.
While the trailer was released over a year ago, the split-second wink was easily missed. But if you pause after 33 seconds, you can spot it.
As protagonist Jason Duvall backhands a store employee, right behind his head you can see a lizard wall ornament that appears to be wearing a blue floral shirt. Upon closer inspection, we believe this is the same shirt worn by the fan favorite.Vice city character Tommy Vercetti.
It’s not a huge Easter egg if that was Rockstar’s intention, but the game will certainly feature plenty of other nods to the wider world. RGT franchise.
The second detail comes from IGN and appears to confirm that actor Brett Gipson, who plays Sabretooth in Marvel’s Wolverinejoined the cast of GTA6.
The actor recently updated his resume, indicating that he will play a character named Ellis, but there is no information on his role in the game.
The cast of GTA6 has been kept under wraps since its announcement, and we still don’t know who will play the co-protagonists, Jason and Lucia.
Rockstar has officially confirmed that pre-orders for GTA 6 will begin on June 25 ahead of the game’s launch on November 19, while also revealing official cover art for the game.
No pricing has been set yet, but if you’re interested in pre-ordering a copy, here are some PS5 and Xbox gaming accessory upgrades we recommend before you play.
