The 26-year-old musician, however, takes it as a compliment when she’s sidelined with the Eras Tour singer, 36, while she herself celebrates the scale of Swift’s fame.

Abrams was asked how she felt about being compared to love story hitmaker, to whom she told that it never “upset” her and that it was an “honor” to be ranked alongside him.
Although, she noted, there are vast differences between her music and that of other artists compared to Swift’s, she understands that using the global icon’s music as a subgenre is itself a shorthand used by the Internet.
