Prince Harry could very well end his plans to bring his family back to the UK after receiving a shocking security update from the UK.
The Duke of Sussex has repeatedly stressed that he will only bring his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children back to his home country when he feels it is safe.
For more than six months, he had been waiting for the taxpayer-funded security announcement after his review. Unfortunately for the Sussexes, The Sun And BBC confirmed that the request for police protection had been rejected.
It had only been 24 hours when Harry and Meghan confirmed they would return to the UK to attend several engagements and visit the grave of the late Princess Diana.
However, sources said The Sun that Harry is “re-evaluating things” after the security update. “Ultimately, he will do everything he can to find a way to bring them back safely.”
It appears the king’s offer to stay at the royal residence, likely Buckingham Palace, is still on the table. Harry and Meghan reportedly accepted King Charles’ offer.
And although police protection would be available during his stay at a royal estate, but for other commitments, Harry would have to rely on the private security team traveling with him from California.
The family were expected to stay in the UK for around five days. It remains to be seen whether next month’s plan will be changed or canceled.
