Forbidden Door is one of the most unique events on the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) calendar.
The show brings together wrestlers from AEW, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), and Stardom, all on one card. To further raise the stakes, the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation men’s and women’s tournaments will also conclude.
The card for the 2026 iteration of Forbidden Door features five championship matches. The event begins at 7 p.m. ET with the Buy In and the main card begins at 8 p.m. ET at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Skye Blue vs. Maika
Stardom’s Skye Blue and Maika will face off in the Buy-In portion of Forbidden Door with a spot in the TBS Championship’s Survival of the Fittest match. The winner will qualify for a shot at the TBS Championship, which was canceled by Willow Nightingale due to injury. Blue aligned himself with Thekla, who vowed to destroy Fame and New Japan. Blue will give Stardom the first Triangle of Madness success.
Prediction: Skye Blue wins this one.

Megan Bayne and Lena Kross (c) vs. Thunder Rosa and Olympia for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship

Divine Dominion’s Megan Bayne and Lena Kross have been in tears since winning the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship. The duo eliminated all the challengers in their path. On Sunday, they will meet CMLL’s Thunder Rosa and Olympia. The prowess of Divine Dominion cannot be overlooked here.
Prediction: Megan Bayne and Lena Kross retain.

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage (c) vs. David Finlay and Clark Connors for the AEW World Tag Team Championship

David Finlay and Clark Connors have targeted Adam Copeland and Christian Cage since the end of Double or Nothing. Copeland and Cage didn’t even get their moment to take flash photos with AEW fans. They’ve had to look over their shoulders in almost every appearance on AEW TV. But the veteran tag team duo lived out their impressionable careers where it mattered most: in the ring.
Prediction: Cope and Cage keep the tag titles around their waists.

Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson vs. Místico and Máscara Dorada vs. Shingo Takagi and Titán
A triple threat tag team match showcases the best in professional wrestling. The Young Bucks face Místico and Máscara Dorada and Shingo Takagi and Titán. AEW, CMLL and NJPW will be present in this match which should be fun.
Prediction: Matt and Nick Jackson take the win here.

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Bandido for the AEW Continental Championship

Jon Moxley has held the AEW Continental Championship since the end of the world in December and has defended the title at every stage. Bandido offers a unique challenge to Moxley, who mostly likes to keep his opponents on the ground. Bandido could spring a surprise here at Forbidden Door and take the title from a member of the Death Riders.
Prediction: Bandido wins AEW gold

Shota Umino (c) vs. Pac for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship

New Japanese Shota Umino will return to an AEW ring to defend the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship against Pac. He won the title against AEW’s Andrade in a three-way match at Dominion earlier this month. This is a major title defense as he takes on the hard-hitting Pac. If Pac and Moxley lose, the Death Riders will be left without any titles in the faction.
Prediction: Umino retains the title

Thekla (c) vs. Starlight Kid for the AEW Women’s World Championship

Thekla’s war against New Japan and Stardom began almost immediately after Double or Nothing. She brushed aside three challengers at the last pay-per-view and begged Japanese professional wrestling promotions to send their best. They obliged. Starlight Kid is a former champion of Stardom and while Thekla has the Triangle of Madness behind her, Starlight Kid has Neo Genesis in her corner. Thekla has proven herself to be one of the fiercest wrestlers in the world and she will prove it again on Sunday night.
Prediction: Thekla holds back in a hard-hitting match.

Mercedes Moné vs. Maya World

It all comes down to this. The Owen Hart Cup Women’s Final between Mercedes Moné and Maya World with a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line at All In. Moné is the CEO and one of the best in the ring. She returned to AEW as a wild card participant in the tournament and has been on tears ever since. World is a promising player who is riding a wave of momentum heading into the finals. World proved herself more than capable of knocking down any opponent that came near her. This all culminates with Sunday’s game.
Prediction: Mercedes Moné wins and advances to All In.

Kenny Omega vs. Zack Saber Jr.

Sometimes a match that isn’t part of the main event can steal the show. Professional wrestling fans saw this at Double or Nothing between Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada. On Sunday, it may be no different when Kenny Omega and Zack Saber Jr. step inside the ropes for their likely classic showdown. Omega and Saber are two of the best in the world and what they will bring to the ring doesn’t necessarily need to be explained. Sit back and watch this one carefully.

Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland

Will Ospreay swore with all his being that he would take part in the All In main event at Wembley Stadium. He’s kept his promise so far, but faces a familiar foe in Swerve Strickland in the final of the Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament. There is a lot of emotion behind the final here and it will be expressed throughout the match. Both Ospreay and Strickland want to be at the top of AEW and have proven themselves more than capable of taking on that challenge.
Prediction: Will Ospreay will see his dream come true and defeat Swerve Strickland.

Team Briscoe vs. MJF and The Don Callis Family in a 12-man steel cage match

AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman puts Mark Briscoe to the test as Briscoe attempts to challenge for his title. MJF has a long list of reasons why Briscoe shouldn’t be able to take on the challenge, but he left some things out – Briscoe’s courage and heart. Briscoe and his team will have to beat MJF and his team in a steel cage match for him to get that shot. Briscoe’s team includes Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, Konosuke Takeshita and Darby Allin. MJF’s team includes Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada and Andrade El Idolo.
Prediction: Team Briscoe wins in a brutal match.
