After a week of contradictory reports on the issue, Samsung confirmed to Techradar that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would not support the functionality of Bluetooth S Pen.
The latest flagship product of the company was announced in Galaxy Unbacked on January 22, and it was quickly discovered that Samsung had canceled Bluetooth compatibility from the inclusive pen accessory. Then, on January 26, Android Authority spotted a Samsung blog article which included the line “The B Bluetooth pens sold separately”, suggesting that Samsung would publish a ultra -autonomous and compatible Bluetooth pen for Frustrated Galaxy S25 Ultra.
However, Samsung has now confirmed to Techradar that this will not be the case. The company did not explain why its own blog article detailed an nonexistent product, but it is sure to assume that it was done by mistake. Sorry, pen fans.
Bluetooth compatible pens were (or had) been a characteristic of the Samsung note and ultra devices for more than a decade. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, for example, is delivered with a Bluetooth compatible pen that allowed users to control the phone remotely; You can use it to trigger the camera, open applications and navigate the phone user interface, among others.
As to know why Samsung deleted the Bluetooth features of its latest pen, the company told Lance Ulanoff de Techradar, that it did because so few people used related features.
