Holly Willoughby is swapping the TV studio for YouTube, but according to insiders it’s not just another career move: it’s her biggest test yet.
The presenter is reportedly pouring everything into a new lifestyle series, likely titled Together, after a difficult few years which saw several high-profile projects disappear from screens.
“Holly has had some failures and her profile isn’t what it used to be, so she thinks this latest venture is her last chance and she doesn’t want her to fail,” a source said.
“She missed presenting – that’s what she loves – but she’s nervous about the audience’s reaction.”
The insider added that Holly is still feeling the fallout from the This Morning controversy.
“She feels she’s struggled to get over the This Morning fiasco…Holly is hoping this is her chance to win the hearts of the public and get back on track. Her confidence has been hit hard, but she’s put her all into it.”
The YouTube series, produced by her husband Dan Baldwin’s Hungry Bear Media, is expected to lean heavily on lifestyle content, with a celebrity twist.
“She has big plans: including some of her famous friends like Emma Bunton, Natalie and Nicole Appleton and even Michael McIntyre in her new YouTube show,” the source revealed.
“Holly knows how entertaining and popular they are and wants to use their star power to help her on her show. They are only too happy to help, especially after the horrible years Holly endured.”
Whether YouTube becomes Holly’s fresh start or her toughest challenge yet, one thing is clear: she’s all in.
