Those close to Katie Price are reportedly worried about her after she recently missed the premiere of a film she stars in to stay with husband Lee Andrews.
The former glamor model, 48, appears in director Michael Head’s latest film, Jackie the stripperwhich also features Patsy Kensit and Kimberly Wyatt.
However, in a shocking social media update, Katie informed her fans that she would not be able to attend the premiere in Leicester Square on Thursday night.
An insider told the Sun that her friends worry that she prefers marriage to work – which is quite unusual for Katie’s personality which has always been so ambitious.
A well-placed insider said: “It’s totally unlike Kate to miss a work event of this magnitude.
“She may only have a small role in Jackie the stripper but it’s still a movie role and it’s a career path she’s always wanted to pursue. “All Kate seems to care about is staying with Lee in their ‘Dubai bubble’ and ignoring everything that’s going on around them.
“She knows the team behind the film isn’t happy, but she fights back, telling everyone she’ll make it up to them.
“There is a real fear that Kate will start missing so many engagements that no one in the industry will take her seriously anymore.”
It comes after Katie and Lee were slammed by animal rights campaigner Meg Mathews after buying a new puppy just days after one of Katie’s cats died.
