X-Men 97 The first three episodes of Season 2 are available now, and you’ll be able to see a new entry from this Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)-adjacent project every week for the foreseeable future. Before Legally blonde come Shea prequel set in 1995 in which our optimistic, pink-loving protagonist attempts to navigate the turbulent waters of high school. A tagline for the Amazon TV Original says it’s even harder than law school was, and we’ll soon learn why over the course of this eight-part season.

The Mummy by Lee Cronin (HBO Max)

Not to be confused with the film of the same name directed by Brendan Fraser, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy is one of the few new horror films arriving on HBO Max this month.
In it, we follow a family who find Katie, their long-lost and now mummified daughter. They soon realize that something is wrong with her and what follows is a heavy, incredibly bloody and divisive supernatural film.
You may have to suspend your disbelief for this one, but if you need a good scare this weekend, this certainly does the trick. — kg
Ready or Not 2 (Hulu/Disney+)

Ready or Not 2: Here I am was not a sequel I expected and, in my opinion Ready or not 2 review, I was definitely on the fence about it.
The sequel, which is now available on Hulu (US) and Disney+ (everywhere else), is thankfully saved by its star power, and it’s especially great to see Sarah Michelle Gellar loving every moment of the character she plays. Here, she’s part of an aristocratic group of individuals with murder on their minds, who hunt down Grace (Samara Weaving) and her sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) as part of a high-stakes ritual. — kg

It’s time to literally uncover more secrets at the heart of this critically acclaimed Apple TV Original.
Indeed, with Silo returning for its third and penultimate episode, the Rebecca Ferguson-led dystopian drama needs to start giving viewers the answers they’re looking for. Fortunately, Silo Season 3 does just that, with its distinct timelines — one of which takes place centuries before Earth’s surface became uninhabitable — beginning to pull back the curtain on its larger mystery.
The first episode of this season was posted online on Apple’s streaming platform. New episodes will also air weekly, so prepare for nine more weeks of twists, betrayals, and other shocks galore. — TP

Finally, Netflix has a new spin-off for its Worst ever documentary series. We’ve seen the worst exes and the worst roommates, and now we’re looking at the neighbors from hell.
There’s harassment, paranoia and even murder in its four episodes, which feature the perspectives of local law enforcement and people involved in neighborhood disputes that have spiraled out of control, often ending in injury and irreparable damage.
You won’t believe some of these stories, but they’re 100% true and some of the most shocking stories you’ll find in Netflix’s true crime library. — kg
