Pat Mahomes Sr., the father of the NFL double MVP, Patrick Mahomes, is back under the spotlight.
The elder Mahomes argues that he was not responsible for a recent comment published on his social media account, which seemed to refer to the Buffle invoices.
“Today is a great day so as not to be from Buffalo,” said Mahomes Sr. account after the victory of the Kansas City chiefs over the invoices of the AFC championship on Sunday.

The former MLB launcher then took his Instagram account to try to clean the air by saying that he was the victim of a hack on social networks.
“I have not been on Twitter / X for years,” wrote Mahomes Sr. “My account was hacked and I do not have access to it. The PLS do not take into account the tweets of @pmahomas.”

He added another declaration to his Instagram account.
“Please note: Patrick Mahomes Sr.’s X account was compromised,” said the Instagram post. “The Mahomes family is the greatest respect for the Buffalo Bills organization and the #BILLSMAFIA fans base. We are working actively to solve this problem. Thank you for your understanding.”

Mahomes Sr. also offered an apology in an article on Instagram history, writing: “Sorry for the misunderstanding. Would never be.”
The account in question seems to have been moderately active in recent months after an extended period of practically no position dating back to December 2022. The account has shared around six positions since June 2024.
It was not clear if one of the six most recent posts had been compromised.
Some of the previous messages of the reference account at the MLB Willie Mays icon. Baseball legend died at the age of 93 in June. The social media page also presents photos of the elder Mahomes wearing his Minnesota TwinSota jersey and the chiefs quarter when he was baby.

This is not the first time that Mahomes Sr. has made the headlines. In August 2024, he pleaded guilty to an accusation of drinking driving and was sentenced to five years of probation.
Tyler, Texas, the KLTV news station reported that Mahomes Sr. should continue to attend anonymous alcohol meetings as a condition of the agreement. He also had to serve 10 days in prison.
The police images obtained by TMZ last year showed that Pat Mahomes Sr. begging the police and mentioning the name of his son several times during an arrest of February 2024.
“Can I say one thing?” Mahomes Sr. said. “My son is preparing to play in the Super Bowl F — ING.”
