Sometimes Strands themes can scratch your head, other times they are just plain clever and today’s theme falls into the latter category.
With the word “season” in mind, I quickly found SUMMERTIME thanks to the hard-to-miss double M, although the corkscrew connections presented a bit of a challenge.
Beyond that, there were some tricky words: I wouldn’t have seen BURGEON if it weren’t for the fact that it hadn’t been sandwiched by THRIVE and the spangram.
