Prince Harry had no secret romantic relationship with Charlotte Griffiths, an explosive new article has finally cleared the air.
The Duke of Sussex must have breathed a sigh of relief after the journalist spoke out, clearly denying that these “intimate messages” had been misinterpreted.
Writing for the Daily Mail, the editor shared: “But suddenly these messages, in which I had spoken of the ‘naughty fun weekend’ and Harry had recalled our ‘cinema cuddles’, were interpreted as evidence of some sort of romantic affair.
“In fact, we had simply shared a blanket at a movie screening in a living room with others in attendance on a Sunday afternoon. ‘Nastiness’ referred to excessive drinking.”
She also pointed out one of Harry’s references, “Cinderella’s shoe,” which led misleading headlines to believe the two were intimate.
Charlotte said they were borrowed shoes that she used to “go out for a cigarette.”
The journalist described the reaction towards him as “sickening”.
For those who don’t know, these texts were included in Prince Harry’s privacy file in March.
These texts emerged in court after the Duke of Sussex denied being friends with any of the journalists linked to his case.
