Michael Bublé has reacted hilariously to Kevin Jonas’ revelation that the Canadian singer’s soulful tracks are a permanent fixture on his private bedroom playlist.
The 50-year-old crooner appeared in the series’ latest episode Hi Jonas! podcast on Thursday, July 9, where Kevin finally had the opportunity to speak to her face-to-face about this sweet and musical gesture.
During the episode, the 38-year-old guitarist opened up about an intimate confession he previously made on the show, telling Bublé that he landed a coveted spot on their “baby-making playlist.”
Kevin’s brother, Joe Jonas, chimed in to explicitly clarify that it was actually a “sexy baby making playlist.”
Far from being discouraged, the Home The singer was visibly delighted by this admission, responding enthusiastically: “Oh, man. You don’t even know what that means to me.”
Bublé also poked fun at early internet headlines surrounding the confession, jokingly admitting that he had already imagined so many different fantasies about it.
The unexpected romantic revelation originally surfaced during a past episode of the Hi Jonas! podcast featuring scientist Bill Nye.
When Nye innocently asked the pop trio what specific music they listened to when they wanted to be “excited,” the brothers immediately interpreted the question as bedroom anthems.
Kevin then admitted to owning a dedicated playlist of his wife Danielle’s favorite music, pointing out that it contained many artists from Michael Bublé and the like.
Reflecting on his marriage, Kevin told Bublé that the only thing he wasn’t able to offer her at the time was to have him sing live, noting that as he and Danielle headed toward their 20th anniversary, he still couldn’t close that deal.
In response, the Swing The singer revealed that he was asked about Kevin’s playlist in a recent interview, where his immediate reaction was that the feeling was completely mutual.
Masterfully flipping the pop star’s script, Bublé began quoting them from the Jonas Brothers’ own discography, joking: “Like, man, ‘I’m an asshole to you.’ Are you kidding me?”
He then took the joke a step further, sending all three brothers into absolute fits of laughter as he added that there wasn’t a single time he and his wife had conceived without him personally singing their 2020 hit, What’s a man to do?.
Although the Jonas Brothers and Bublé have never officially collaborated on a track together in the studio, they share a close bond.
The brothers previously brought the singer as a surprise guest on their tour to his hometown of Vancouver to perform his signature rendition of Feel good.
