King Charles won’t welcome Harry to the palace without Archie, Lilibet?

King Charles and Prince Harry’s reunion has been linked to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s return to the palace, according to a new report.

The British monarch is reportedly “fed up” with the drama of her ex-son Prince Harry, but a reunion with her grandchildren is at stake, a royal expert has claimed.

The 77-year-old king wants to see his grandchildren from Montecito but insists that any visit must be strictly private and properly planned.

The claim comes from British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard, amid reports that The mirror report that the Duke of Sussex is “frantically” trying to provide private security for his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two young children in the United Kingdom.

“Of course Grandpa Charles wants to see his Montecito grandchildren,” Chard said.

The expert went on to explain why the royal family is still reluctant to welcome Harry back to their palace, saying: “He just doesn’t want the Sussex drama. King Charles is fed up with the rolling press briefings, the last minute changes of plans, the fight for security playing out in public and in court.

“Then there was the offer of accommodation made, refused and then requested again. The visit with the children is confirmed, then canceled and perhaps resumed. This drags the monarchy into a circus it cannot control.”

According to Chard, the reputational damage has already been done.

The expert claimed: “Bringing the Sussexes back into the fold publicly now would give the impression that the institution is bowing to pressure.”

“If Harry and Meghan want the king to meet his grandchildren, it will have to be strictly private, properly planned and without the press. The Sussexes will have to accept the king’s conditions to avoid the royal family becoming the laughing stock of the world,” the author said.

After reports that the prince would travel to the United Kingdom with his family, the government declined his request for police protection outside the royal residences, prompting him to travel alone on July 6. He is expected to stay there until July 11 for events marking the Invictus Games.

It is unknown if he will be reunited with his father or if his family will join him before the end of his journey. THE Telegraph reported that Meghan is expected to travel to Britain this week with the children.
