Let’s face it: we all checked the best OLED and thought televisions “do you know what would make them even better?” Lava! ” Thank goodness for the German luxury brand Loewe and its latest OLED TV, which is partly made from cooled pieces from the heart of the earth.
The TV is part of the Loewe “Stellar” range, a collection of non -capitalized luxury televisions that already include models with concrete rear panels. And now, the new Loewe Stellar Alu Black + Lava adds volcanic powder to the mixture.
Can Loewe make you fall in love with lava?
Why Loewe uses lava in its televisions
According to Loewe, there are good reasons to include cooled volcano bits in consumer electronics. It is abundant and durable, it is very dense, it is strong and durable, and its very resistant to heat, which is good for high -end televisions.
But I suspect that the real reason is simpler: they added it because it is interesting to the kind of people who want unusual objects and who do not care to pay the best dollar for them. And I am absolutely on board with it, because the textured and dark surface is incredibly cool – even if I am not even close to being the target demography of this television.
And the rest of the TV is not exactly a low rent. The stellar range uses micro-objective table meta panels which promise a superb color and contrast (and have delivered to other televisions where they are used, such as the LG G4), and their sound systems are also quite impressive . Which is just as well, because the Black + Lava stellar begins at £ 3,299 for the 42 inch, reaching £ 5,999 for the 65 inch model. There are also 48 -inch and 55 inch models for £ 3,799 and £ 4,299 respectively.
There is no American or Australian price because Loewe generally does not sell to these markets. But if you are in the United Kingdom or the EU, televisions will be available from the end of February in retailers such as Harrods and online on Loewe.tv.
