With all eyes on the recent launch Assassin’s Creed Black Flag resyncedThere’s a good chance you’ve missed one of Ubisoft’s most interesting announcements. Last week, the company quietly confirmed that The Motorfest Crew comes to Nintendo Switch 2.
Under the radar

In my eyes, this is great news because the Switch 2 was in serious need of higher quality racing games.
Of course you have the excellent Mario Kart World (not to mention Kirby Air Riders), but if you want something a little more realistic, your only real option so far has been Grid Legends: Definitive Editionwhich focuses solely on track racing.
The Motorfest Crew is a true AAA open-world experience that lets you drive anywhere in hundreds of officially licensed cars, plus a handful of planes and boats for when you want to spice things up.
It takes place in a massive recreation of Hawaii, with many real-world cities and landmarks depicted, right in the middle of hosting a huge international car festival. Yes, it’s a very similar premise to that Forza Horizon games – but is that really such a bad thing?
It’s a proven formula and, without any words Forza Horizon 6 Nintendo Switch 2 port again, I think The Motorfest Crew will occupy a very important niche.
The port is scheduled to arrive on October 8, with a physical retail release planned alongside a digital release.
