The sports world is awaiting LeBron James’ decision on where he will sign during the NBA offseason.
If the rumor is correct, James will choose from the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers. He spent the last eight years with the Los Angeles Lakers, bringing the team to a championship during the coronavirus pandemic-affected season.

Iman Shumpert, one of James’ teammates with the Cavaliers, explained where he should sign.
“If it’s a ring, go to Philadelphia,” he said on the “Shump Street” podcast. “If it’s about selling tickets to Miami. If it’s about finishing your career the way it should be, go to Cleveland. Don’t go to Cleveland trying to be happy with a win because you’re not going to win there. You’re not going to be happy. This is the comeback tour. It’s not about winning. Don’t you dare go there thinking it’s rolling with winners.

“I don’t know what’s going on between them in the playoffs, don’t do it. I was on a team with LeBron when he was frustrated and he felt like there was too much going on. He’s going to start shipping shit from there, man. LeBron works for UPS, I’m telling y’all.”
It is unclear when James will make his decision. It’s also unclear what James is actually looking for in a team and how long he will play for this organization.
He proved he could still play at a high level. But by the end of the year he will be 42 years old and the longevity he is used to having on the field could deteriorate at any moment.

Last season, James played 60 games for the Lakers. He averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game. He ended up leaving Los Angeles during the offseason.
