Tom Holland takes a moment to think afterwards The Odyssey finally in theaters.
Taking to his Instagram on Friday, July 17, the 30-year-old actor — who plays Telemachus in Christopher Nolan’s epic new action fantasy film — wrote a heartfelt tribute to the cast, crew and friends he’s made along the way.
“There are films where you are creatively challenged and fulfilled and there are jobs where you meet great people. The Odyssey it’s BOTH,” Holland wrote alongside a carousel of images from the film’s press tour and premiere.
“Being part of this epic adventure has been one of the greatest pleasures of my career. I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience and the lessons I learned,” he continued.
After thanking “the incredible crew for going the distance”, the Spiderman The star expressed her gratitude to her co-stars – Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson, Elliot Page, Mia Goth and more.
“Thank you to our incredible team for going the distance, thank you to our wonderful cast for guiding me through this whirlwind and thank you to Chris and Emma for your guidance and for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime,” he wrote, paying tribute to the award-winning filmmaker couple.
“I couldn’t be more proud of everyone involved. The Odyssey is out now! Enjoy it on every format possible and see you soon,” concluded Holland.
