U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs raked in about $227 million on July 20, marking a fifth straight day of net inflows for the first time since late April, according to SoSoValue data. Ether ETFs added about $38 million, led by BlackRock’s ETHA.
The five-day buying period brought in about $727 million, the most sustained buying period since June’s record outflows. Total Bitcoin ETF assets have climbed back to around $79 billion, up from a July low near $75 billion. BlackRock’s ETHA dominated the ether side with around $34 million.
Bitcoin held its range near $63,000 as last week’s chip sell-off stalled, and the return of ETF supply is the missing piece in a quarter of outflows.
The test is what he resists. The Fed meets July 28-29 and big tech results are coming this week, with Alphabet, Tesla and Intel reporting the numbers that will show whether spending on AI, the bitcoin trading with which bitcoin has been trading all month, continues to rise.
