Prediction market platform Kalshi has rolled out its “Midterms Hub” in the United States with the aim of positioning itself as the leading reference for election probabilities in the United States.
The new hub will allow users to observe the results expected by speculators in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives as the country heads toward the November elections, Kalshi said in a press release sent Wednesday.
Kalshi said the Midterms Hub would provide a live snapshot of where users are willing to place their bet at any given time. “It’s designed as a one-stop shop for state and federal election forecasts of where a race stands,” Kalshi said.
The results are based on the latest odds for each market and a map of the United States, Kalshi said in the release.
The hub will also feature polling averages, so potential bettors can see how prediction market odds compare to what statistical voter surveys show, the latest Federal Election Commission fundraising reports for individual candidates, and news and analysis from various media outlets.
The announcement follows reports that Kalshi Inc. is seeking regulatory approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to expand its perpetual contracts outside of crypto.
