“There’s more where that came from” can be a threat of additional punishment or a promise of more pleasure, depending on the circumstances.
However, this thinking got me nowhere and it wasn’t until a clue gave me EXTRA that I realized we were looking for words that were synonymous with “extra” — as in there’s more where that comes from, whether you need it or not.
I have a friend who runs a company called EXCESS, so not seeing that was embarrassing, while the spangram also escaped me. It’s not my best game.
