After four years of absence from X, Nick Bosa is making up for lost time.
The San Francisco 49ers star hadn’t posted on the social media platform since November 12, 2022, aside from just three replays. That was until Thursday.
The three replays Bosa had shared included Joe Rogan’s 2024 podcast episode with Elon Musk, Michael Bublé promoting a charity, and George Kittle’s message from the World Cup final calling for grass instead of turf for NFL stadiums. Ironically, this was the subject of Bosa’s last article which he himself wrote.

But the news that circulated this week was enough for Bosa to get moving, albeit for an extremely short period of time.
Bosa cited an article from The Athletic about the firing of Ryan Clark from ESPN, and he expressed his thoughts relatively clearly with a single emoji.
Clark has criticized Bosa in the past for wearing a MAGA hat after a game shortly before the 2024 election, which President Donald Trump ultimately won.
“It seems very clear to me that Nick Bosa understands that when you wear that hat, you’re taking sides,” Clark said at the time. “You’re taking the side of division in a sport that’s supposed to bring us together. I’m just waiting for all the people who comment on politics and sports to shut up and dribble or shut up and play soccer, tell him to shut up and run. But they won’t say it, because they feel exactly the same way he does.”
Clark recently said that supporting Trump was “more polarizing” than supporting other politicians.

“Let’s be honest. The one you supported in 2008 and 2012 is nowhere near as polarizing as the one you support today,” Clark said on his podcast. “[Trump] has clearly chosen his side, [and] standing next to him makes you feel like you have to. Which means you are in direct opposition to the majority of your teammates. »
Bosa was fined $11,255 for wearing the hat, but he appears to have no regrets.
“It was worth it,” Bosa said after the election, before being fined. “I don’t think my position on this is going to change, which is why the nation has spoken clearly,” Bosa added. “We got what we got.”

Clark was part of several layoffs at the company, including Bart Scott, Tom Pelissero, Karl Ravech and Cam Newton.
