It was a game that started easy and ended confusingly.
After collecting the obvious clothing items in the DRESS, TUNIC, and PINAFORE, what was left on the board was letter soup with no obvious words. After piecing together the spangram, I saw KIMONO, but then drew a blank.
I needed a clue to get DIRNDL – the name for an alpine dress – which left me with MUUMUU, another garment I hadn’t heard of before but which I now know, thanks to Wikipedia, is a loose dress of Hawaiian origin.
