Justice Muhammad Azam Khan heard petitions seeking suspension of their sentences
ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday reserved its decision on upholding the stay of sentence petitions filed by lawyer Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chattha in the controversial tweets case.
Justice Muhammad Azam Khan heard the petitions seeking suspension of their sentences.
During the hearing, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) raised objections to the maintainability of the requests, arguing that the requests were filed prematurely. The NCCIA lawyer argued that the requests for suspension of sentence were not admissible at this stage.
