Security forces destroy vehicle loaded with explosives; President Zardari, Naqvi hail rapid response of security forces
Four terrorists were killed in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district after security forces foiled a major terror plot by destroying an “explosives-laden vehicle intended for a suicide attack”, the army’s media wing said on Saturday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the attack took place today when terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored ‘Fitna Al Khwarij’ attempted to attack a security force check post in South Waziristan district.
“The khwarij sought to breach the security checkpoint; however, their nefarious designs were stopped and decisively foiled by the vigilant and resolute response of the security forces,” the statement said.

He further said that a disinfection operation was underway to eliminate any other ‘India-sponsored kharji’ found in the area.
The Army’s media wing said the anti-terrorism campaign under the vision ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’, approved by the Supreme Federal Committee on National Action Plan, would continue in full swing to eliminate the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
