Angel Reese surprised his mom with a birthday present that almost made her cry.
Reese’s mother, Angel Webb Reese, was a guest on the WNBA shameless “podcast”.
At the end of the episode, Reese told her mother that she had reimbursed her mortgage as part of her gift.

“You said that if your mortgage was reimbursed, you will retire, or if you will not work, or if you can choose if you want to work again, so your mortgage has been paid,” said Reese.
Webb Reese almost dropped the cake that had been given to him, with disbelief.
“What?” Webb Reese said, stunned.
“Today, your mortgage has been paid. You don’t have to worry about your mortgage. And if you still want to work and keep busy, you can keep busy,” continued Reese.

“Are you serious?” Webb Reese said, overwhelmed by Reese’s gift.
“And when I move to Chicago this year – in fact, I get a house, all of you – you can come and stay with me when you wish,” added Reese.
“It was my biggest goal in life, to withdraw. To pay for your mortgage or whatever you wanted to work.”
Webb Reese started to tear himself off, then Reese came to her and sang “Happy Birthday”.

Webb Reese played for the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and was inducted into the temple of renown of UMBC athletics.
Reese wore n ° 10 in LSU once he became available to honor his mother, as Webb Reese wore n ° 10 in his days of play.
