The Duchess of Sussex has enjoyed a string of successes recently, including her Emmy nomination, her MasterChef debut, the release of Cookie Queens and even her reunion with King Charles.
However, these accomplishments are not without criticism, which would leave Meghan feeling “justified” that it’s all just jealousy.
“Meghan is beyond excited to get this nomination,” a source said. Closer Review. “She sees it as proof that the show has struck a chord with people who matter.”
Some critics claimed Meghan “dragged” her show into the nominations, especially since it had already been canceled on Netflix. They complained that the show’s numbers did not justify the recognition.
“Many people are convinced that she managed to fight her way to the nomination, whether that was fair or not,” they added. “Emmy campaigning can be nasty and competitive at the best of times, but with so many people questioning whether it even deserved the green light, it’s particularly vicious.”
However, she doesn’t let this affect her good fortune and the streak she enjoys. She knows the backlash will only intensify as the Emmy Awards draw closer.
“As far as she’s concerned, she’s earned the right to celebrate this moment, and she’s not going to let anyone take that away from her,” the source added. “If she wins the award at Emmy night, that’s even better, but either way, she’ll make the most of it no matter how many people try to tear her down.”
