LeBron James is used to hearing MVP songs, no matter where he plays, but most of the time, they are for him.
However, Thursday evening, they were for another James: his son Bonny.

The 20-year-old obtained a little time at the end of the Los Angeles 134-96 victory against Washington Wizards. The game was practically finished in the jump, while the Lakers led 78-45 at halftime.

This prompted Bronny, the 55th choice of the NBA draft last year, to get a few minutes in the garbage time. It was perhaps better than the “hard point” that JJ Redick had put Bronny the previous night, when he went 0-in-5 from the ground while obtaining time in a crucial game of the game.
In her 12 minutes played, Bonny impressed five points, including a resistant bucket and one who even took her father from his seat.

Bonny had not seen the ground for more than six minutes enter Wednesday, but he now saw 27 minutes of time in the last two games of the Lakers.
It was a struggle for Bonny, who participated in the competition from Thursday to only 1 for 16 on the ground. He has on average less than five points per game during his only season at the USC.
James spent a decent part of the season to develop in the G League, which was much nicer to him. In these matches, he sets up 16.3 points per game.
The ironic songs came after the ESPN Stephen A. Smith magnate tore LeBron for slowing down his son’s growth among the pros.

“I suppose Lebron James, as a father. Stop. Stop. We all know that Bonny James is in the NBA because of his father,” said Smith during the “First Take” edition of Wednesday.
The victory improved the Lakers at 27-19 with the victory, good for the fifth place of the Western Conference. They will face a difficult test on Saturday evening when they visit Madison Square Garden to face the Knicks in third place.
